Melodies beam and refract over primordial rhythms, not quite traveling forward but breaking apart into new directions. Some movements conform close to traditional Western song structure, without losing the transcendent feel of the surrounding tracks. Some pieces shimmer with Tibetan bells, bowls, and drums, and sampled field recordings of throat-singing monks of Nagigumba.
